Based in Melbourne, Australia, For Me By Dee creates artful homewares, gifts, and stationery from the original hand-painted characters of watercolour artist Daniella Leo, aka Dee. The warm and vibrant animal friends in her artwork celebrate joy, capture the imagination, and spark meaningful conversations about the world around us.
Dee is just as passionate about creating beautiful artwork as she is about creating connections and telling stories. Founded in 2013 The For Me By Dee brand is the embodiment of Dee’s creative passion. It’s also the result of her decision to pursue what makes her heart sing after discovering that working as a graphic designer in the corporate jungle wasn’t quite right for her.
Dee strives to unite people from all walks of life, and celebrate joy and diversity in human experience with her larger-than-life characters. It is through their stories and the non-judgmental, inviting nature of her animals that she is able to inspire conversations about important topics among kids and grownups alike, such as mental health and climate change.
We strive to connect with like minded charities and organisations to support the work they do. Through our characters and their stories we have the unique ability to start conversations about areas we are passionate about raise awareness and funds where we can.
We also select our product suppliers and manufacturers carefully, always with our own ethics and values in mind.
