Character Trait: Not affectionate, but finds a mate for life

Here’s a few facts about Carlos: he’s very sociable; he loves breaking nuts with his large beak; and he’s looking for a soul mate. Yep, like all palm cockatoos, Carlos is monogamous and mates for life. So finding the right partner is super-important. The only thing is he can’t seem to meet his match. He's tried just about everything – and recently became so focused on finding a partner, he ended up completely forgetting about himself. Carlos stopped giving himself the time and care that he needs, because he didn't feel like he deserved his own love. Eventually, Carlos discovered that he doesn’t need to rush the partner-finding process – he can simply enjoy doing his favourite things, like spending time with his wonderful community of animals and eating tasty nuts. And the more he does what he loves and embraces who he is, the more he'll connect with other like-minded animals – and his perfect partner might be one of them.
